Milestones.
The last week of your 8th month, you figured out how to alternate both arms and legs and start crawling! It was very tentative and sweet at first, with frequent rests. But in just that short week, you turned into a crawling maniac and can go fairly fast.

-You also got two more teeth, the front middle ones. And the teething.. it's not for sissies. You cried, whined, got a fever and bit anything you could get your little mouth on. They finally broke through and are pretty darn precious.
- You can get to sitting position by yourself from laying down.
- You can pull up from sitting to standing on the couch/other furniture you can reach. And "cruise" around somewhat!

Firsts.  You've been perfecting your wave. You mostly do it for your dad and when we walk by the dogs room on the way to yours.

We are 97.4 percent that you keep saying "hi dad" when your dad walks in the room. The first time we were like no way did she say that... but it's happened a few more times so.. is this your first word?!
First real firework show.... you cried the whole time! Since we saw fireworks at the Giants game a few weeks ago, I thought you would be fine but you just couldn't do the loud noises. Thanks to Daddy for holding you the whole time and trying to distract you.

Eating. Well. The good news is, you are a fabulous eater. You have eaten everything we've ever given you, except pineapples. Those we have tried a couple of times and still gets a pretty big grimace. You have started eating some table food, although we have to watch you because you sometimes "chipmunk" the food and hide it in your cheeks. On baby food, we have moved to step 3 which adds more texture. Picking up food is no problem, but you never try to feed yourself. We need to work on that girlfriend!

Loves
Baths in the kitchen sink.
Playing in the grass.
Swimming in the pool.
Eating big people food.

Dislikes.
Changing clothes. It's hard to keep you still and you sometimes cry.

Personality. Right now, you are extremely sassy. You throw your arms out stiff in front of you and say Uhhhhhhp. Once I swear I heard you say shutup but we don't say that here so I'm sure you didn't. ;) If I tell you no, you scream. If I don't feed you fast enough, you scream. If someone looks at you wrong, you scream.

But when you're sweet, you. are. sweet. You cuddle your head on my shoulder and just rest for a minute. Tickling your chunky little thighs makes you get the giggles. You babble and wave and clap. You're a sassy girl, but still oh so sweet.
